Mapping Philly Rent Prices This Summer

Philadelphia remained the 17th most expensive rental market in the nation this month, with the price of one bedroom units up a slight 0.8% to a median of $1,290 and two bedroom units down 1.4% to $1,420. This city came ahead of New Orleans, Minneapolis, and Denver in our most recent list of rent prices across the nation.

The most expensive neighborhoods for renters this summer, all priced above $1,800 for one bedroom units, were Logan Square, Center City West, and University City. Mid ranged priced rentals, ranging from $800-$1,000, included areas in and around Spruce Hill,Kensington, and South Philadelphia West.
